Min-Width

Utilities for setting the minimum width of an element.

Set the minimum width of an element using the utilities.

Tailwind lets you conditionally apply utility classes in different states using variant modifiers. For example, use hover:min-w-0 to only apply the min-w-0 utility on hover.

You can also use variant modifiers to target media queries like responsive breakpoints, dark mode, prefers-reduced-motion, and more. For example, use to apply the min-w-0 utility at only medium screen sizes and above.

You can customize your min-width scale by editing or theme.extend.minWidth in your tailwind.config.js file.

If you need to use a one-off value that doesn’t make sense to include in your theme, use square brackets to generate a property on the fly using any arbitrary value.
