Backdrop Sepia

    Utilities for applying backdrop sepia filters to an element.

    Use the and backdrop-sepia-0 utilities to control whether an element’s backdrop should be rendered as sepia or in full color.

    Removing backdrop filters

    To remove all of the backdrop filters on an element at once, use the backdrop-filter-none utility:

    1. <div class="backdrop-blur-md backdrop-sepia md:backdrop-filter-none">
    2. </div>

    Tailwind lets you conditionally apply utility classes in different states using variant modifiers. For example, use hover:backdrop-sepia-0 to only apply the utility on hover.

    For a complete list of all available state modifiers, check out the Hover, Focus, & Other States documentation.

    Breakpoints and media queries

    You can also use variant modifiers to target media queries like responsive breakpoints, dark mode, prefers-reduced-motion, and more. For example, use md:backdrop-sepia-0 to apply the backdrop-sepia-0 utility at only medium screen sizes and above.

    1. <div class="backdrop-sepia md:backdrop-sepia-0">
    2. <!-- ... -->
    3. </div>

    Arbitrary values

    If you need to use a one-off backdrop-sepia value that doesn’t make sense to include in your theme, use square brackets to generate a property on the fly using any arbitrary value.

    1. <div class="backdrop-sepia-[.25]">
    2. </div>
